I have been interested in breeding and showing animals all my life.  My first experience with showing was in 1964 when I purchased a show quality English Setter puppy.  I showed the dog to his Championship and was bitten by the show bug.  I ended up finishing two more English Setters during my high school years.

In the 60's I also became interested in Quarter horses and had the luck to be close to some history making breeders who were my mentors in breeding and showing quarter horses.  Names like Howard Pitzer ( Two Eye Jack), Norman Reynolds (Zippo Pine Bar) and Hank Weiscamp (Skipper W) all three of these men ended up being legends in the quarter horse world.  They showed me the big picture in a breeding program, as well as to art of breeding to the Standard of a Breed.

I became interested in CFA Burmese Cats breeding #2 Burmese in the Country with 124 Best Cat In Shows.  Bred Quarter Horses for 30 years had many AQHA Champions, Superior Halter awards, ROM Performance Winners, World Champion Halter horses. While I had a Ranch in Kansas, I also bred Gelbvieh Cattle, had the High Selling Female at the Louisville stock show one year as well as top gaining bull at the bull test station.

I purchased a Boxer in the 80's won at the National with him and many group wins, bred Jack Russell Terriers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels both before AKC recognized them.  I always had my eye on French Bulldogs, even back in the 60's but realized they were extremely difficult to breed, and took a great deal of time and effort to produce.  So I waited until I was close to retirement.

I purchased my first French Bulldog in 1999.  She was bred very well, her litter mate brother ended up in the top ten, but show dogs and breeding dogs are two different things, she lives with my daughter in Kansas City.  In 2004 I purchased several show puppies in a two year period from the late Dana Harlow of Morgan Manor French Bulldogs and from those show prospects two females were  selected for our foundation.  I also imported a male from Tove Rassmussen of Daulokke French Bulldogs in Denmark.  The American French bulldog gene pool is very small, so my breeding program combines both top European and American Lines. The French Bulldog is a companion breed with a beautiful head. I breed to the AKC Standard.  When I do breed it is to advance my show and breeding program, we sometimes have pets from those breedings.  We also have adults we place after they leave our breeding program or older puppies who didn't quite mature into what we wanted for show or breeding purposes.  All our dogs live in our home and are part of our family.  We do not offer at this time our Stud dogs to outside females.
